Which city did the scholars turn to after Delhi?

Serious and tasteful readers of Urdu language and literature, especially students of literature, will have heard the term “Dabbistan-e-Lucknow” and will also be familiar with the word “Lucknowit” which has a background. ۔

By the school of Lucknow we mean the color and style of poetry and literature which was adopted by the pioneer poets of Lucknow. Due to some of its characteristics, that color is different from the poetry of ancient Urdu and Delhi.

The situation in Delhi deteriorated and when the people of taste and poets came together in Lucknow, the school of Lucknow began to be discussed in comparison to other centers of knowledge and literature.

Deccan and Delhi were previously considered major centers of learning and literature in India, but after the battle for the throne and the destruction of peace and tranquility in Delhi, the scholars and philosophers turned to Lucknow and Faizabad for their wisdom. And decorated with eloquence and gave a great splendor to the gatherings of knowledge and literature here.

Mir Taqi Mir is also among the poets who left Delhi for Lucknow when the situation deteriorated.
