Wuhan: A Chinese man committed suicide by jumping into the water in front of his pet dog, after which the dog sat there for several days waiting for its owner.


International media Reports According to the report, a citizen came to the Yangtze Bridge on the river in Wuhan, China and then jumped into the water in front of his dog to commit suicide.


According to the report, the faithful dog sat in the same place for four days waiting for its owner, during which the locals tried to chase him away but he did not move.



The picture shows the dog looking into the river and waiting for its owner to return.


According to police, the suicide occurred on Friday, May 30. The body of the man who jumped into the river was pulled out of the water after several hours of struggle but could not be identified.



A citizen crossing the bridge took pictures of the dog and shared them on a social networking site. When Internet users saw these pictures, they expressed regret and envy for the dog’s loyalty.


The person who shared the photo wrote, “The dog’s innocence shook me. When I showed these photos to my friends, they were also very sad.”



“The deceased was fortunate to have a faithful dog waiting for its owner,” said Du Fan, director of an animal rights group in Wuhan, China. The organization took the dog into custody and transferred it to an animal center.
