Sushant Singh's suicide, Salman Khan in big trouble


Mumbai: After the suicide of Bollywood actor Shashant Singh, Salman Khan and other important showbiz personalities got into big trouble.


It may be recalled that Shashant Singh, a young Bollywood actor, committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan in his house on June 14. His body was recovered from the room.


Fans of Shashant Singh blamed Bollywood celebrities for the death of their hero and blamed nepotism for the suicide.


According to Indian media reports, a case has been registered in the state of Bihar against prominent personalities of the Bollywood industry.


According to the Hindustan Times, Advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha filed a case against eight Bollywood personalities including Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Salman Khan and Ektakpur in a Muzaffarpur court under Sections 306, 109, 504 and 506.


The petitioner accused the named accused of conspiring against Sashant and forcing him to commit suicide, not death but murder.

The petitioner contended that ‘these personalities prevented Shashant from working in 7 films and many of his films were not allowed to be released as he was not impressed by any big family or actor, due to nepotism. A situation arose which forced Shant to take extreme measures.



Reacting to the allegations in an Instagram post, producer Ekta Kapoor said that she is upset over the conspiracy theories which have no truth. “Thanks to the lawsuit that I did not launch Sashant, even though I launched it myself, I am upset about how such ideas can be spread,” he wrote. “Peace be upon Sashant’s family and friends.” Celebrate, the truth will come out automatically.

Earlier, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh had said that the Mumbai police would investigate the death of Sashant Singh on the basis of “professional rivalry”.




He said in his tweet that although the post-mortem report stated that it was a case of suicide, there were media reports that the actors were suffering from severe depression as a result of alleged professional competition.


It may be recalled that Sushant Singh Rajput started his film career in 2013, he had acted in only a dozen films, he got fame from the film PK released in 2014 after which he wrote about the life of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He proved his mettle by playing the lead role in the upcoming film.
