Bombay Talkies: Proved to be a stepping stone to fame and fortune for artists






The name “Bombay Talkies” came to viewers in the 1930s.


The founders of this film studio include Raj Narayan Dubey, Himanshu Rai and Devika Rani. Under its banner, artists like Dilip Kumar, Madhubala, Raj Kapoor, Kishore Kumar, Satyajit Ray, Bimal Rai and Dev Anand embarked on a journey of fame and notoriety and still have a prominent place in the hearts of cinema-goers and in the film industry. When Raj Narain compiled his memoirs on Indian cinema, along with the beginnings and successes of this production house, many interesting things and various incidents about famous artists and other artists of his time came to light which are very memorable. ۔ These include scolding and scolding from various producers as well as slapping for their mistakes.
