Beautiful and monumental buildings of Shah Jahan's time

The Mughal architecture and various magnificent buildings in the subcontinent are not only famous all over the world but are also a testament to the mastery of various arts and craftsmen in the region.

The skill of the craftsmen and artisans of that time in the construction of mosques during the reign of Shah Jahan is also noteworthy. The two most beautiful mosques of this period are the Moti Masjid of Agra Fort, which is made of marble, and the Jama Masjid of Delhi, in which red stone has been used with great skill.

The beauty of the mosque and its mastery of art can be seen in its huge doors and domes. This period is called the Golden Age in terms of architecture, during which the Taj Mahal, the museum of employment, was built. In addition, many magnificent buildings were erected inside the Agra Fort.

Exquisite palaces and houses were built in the Red Fort of Delhi. During the reign of Shah Jahan, marble was used with great care in construction.

Delhi’s Jama Masjid, Lal Qila’s Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-Khaas, Sawan Bhadon, Sheesh Mahal, Angoori Bagh, etc., still tell the story of the splendor of this era and are a monument to the perfection of architecture.
