Bushra Ansari Confirms Her Divorce From Ace Tv Drama Director Iqbal Anasri






In recent interview with Ahsan Khan , famous tv artist Bushra Basheer confirms her divorce with ace PTV director Iqbal Ansari. Bushra said that she dont feel that this thing was really important to discuss with her fans. According to Bushra so many years have passed since she parted her ways and got divorce. Bushra is now working in dramas , she also visits Australia and Canada where her daughter are living.No Doubt Bushra is living legend of Pakistan. There was a time when Bushra and her husband have decide to get settle in USA but they change their decision and come back to Pakistan , as they want to serve Pakistan Television which need people like Bushra and Iqbal Ansari. Bushra is mother of 2 talented daughters .  Eldest one is Nariman Ansari, a 35-year-old photographer and visual artist based in Toronto. And other one is Narmeen Ansari who has done few modeling projects too but she left showbiz. Bushra also changed her sir name on instagram and facebook. Iqbal Ansari, was born in small town Sahiwal Montgomery, Pakistan on Nov 1st, 1950 after his family migrated from Saharanpur, India during partition. He graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts from Punjab University. He further trained at Pakistan Television Training institute, Chaklala when he joined Pakistan Television in 1973 as associate producer. He produced his first television series ” Aadhay Chehray” from PTV Islamabad station. He was sent by PTV for further training to Television Training Institute, Berlin in the eighties. He got married to prominent actress Bushra Ansari in Islamabad in 1978. From 2002 to 2014, he worked in Management at a private television network as Head of Dramatic production to develop drama industry in Pakistan. After an early retirement from PTV, Iqbal Ansari started his work in the private sector as Head of Programs for Indus Television Network, which was at the forefront of private television in 2002. While he was there, he organised the programming and developed new content for the entertainment sector of the channel, including drama serial Mera Naam Hai Mohabbat, and having a Manto Week of plays. It was one of the first times that a television drama festival was created on Pakistani television. The Manto week showing 7 plays based on stories by controversial Urdu writer Saadat Hasan Manto. Producers like Sarmad Khoosat, Ayub Khawar contributed to the festival. He also directed his last project, the serial Raj Hansni, written by Bushra Ansari. Ansari also created game shows, talk shows and various types of content as Head of Programs. He took over as Head of Programming and continued his focus on content development. During this period, Pakistan’s television industry was going through a media boom. With the granting of licenses to private entities, the production sector was not prepared for the sudden needs of this gigantic powerful medium. Iqbal Ansari’s experience in Pakistan Television helped him in training many young directors and producers during his work in managing private channels. He developed shows like Shaista and You, the soap Koi Toh Ho, and Nadia Khan morning show. He decided to move away from channel management and focus on developing special drama projects. He took over as Consultant/ Director, Special Projects at GEO Television working for GEO’s entertainment channel, GEO Entertainment. During his time there, he produced some of the highest rated serials and soaps like Meri Adhoori Mohabbat, Nanhi, Dil Hai Chhota Sa, Bol Meri Macchlee, Tum ho kay Chup, etc. His project Bol Meri Machhlee, directed by Haseeb Hasan, was awarded Best Serial at the Lux Style Awards 2010 and his production Nanhi, also directed by Haseeb Hasan, has been nominated for Best Serial of the Year, Best Writer of the year, and Best Actress at the Lux Style Awards 2014. He joined Express Tv Network in 2013 as Consultant, programming for their channel Express Entertainment. His role was to develop special programs like Eid day transmission, approve content and ensure quality of in-house programs and shows purchased from production houses by the channel. He oversaw and developed production for drama serials Rangbaaz, and Gar Maan Rehjae.


 





Bushra Ansari is a veteran Pakistani actress, comedian, singer, and playwright who was the child artist in the 1960s, at the age of nine years. She was born on 15 May 1956 in Karachi. Bushra got her primary education from the Lady Griffin School, Lahore. She got her higher school certificate from the Lahore College for Women University. After her intermediate, she attended Waqarunnisa College, Rawalpindi for the pursuit of her bachelor in the Fine Arts in 1977. Bushra’s father was a famous Professional writer, Ahmed Bashi. She was the youngest daughter of her parents. Her elder sisters was also an artist, Neelum Ahmed Ansari, a poet, and Sumbal Shahid, a well-known actress. She got married to a producer, Iqbal Ansari on 10th June 1978. The couple has two daughters, Nariman Ansari and Meera Ansari. Her daughter is an actress and model in Pakistan. The beautiful lady is also a very talented actress who has portrayed versatile role in the history of Pakistan entertainment. She started his career journey to portray as a lead actress in a PTV corporation comedy series “Fifty-Fifty” alongside Javed Sheikh in 1978. The series is loosely based on an American comedy show “Saturday Night Live”, later on, which was broadcast by the same name in 1983. She had become rose to prominence after this act. During the same time, she also played in another satirical Pakistani drama serial of PTV “Aangan Terha“. Where she featured the role Jehan Ara Begum, starred with Salim Nasir and Shakeel which indirectly criticized the Martial Law, the military regime and the electoral system in Pakistan. His most popular drama included “Umrao Jaan Ada” with Osman Khalid Butt and Maya Ali. The drama tells the story of a poet and a courtesan of the Lucknow from the 19th century. Bushra is also a very inspired writer, she made her writing as well acting debut at the same time in the drama serial “Makan” on Geo TV. The drama main cast included Khayyam Sarhadi, Shabbir Jan, Maira Khan, Ayesha Sana, Fahad Mustafa, and Saleem Shaikh where Bushra character is a rich and dominant person of a rich family, Bhabi G or Tayee G. Busha has also appeared as a lead comical women in the very famous series on Geo TV “Kis Ki Aayegi Baraat” alongside Javed Sheikh the drama is loosely based on the cultural marriage ceremonies in the Punjabi families. The series is continued as “Azar Ki Aayegi Baraat”, “Dolly Ki Aayegi Baraat”, “Takay Ki Aayegi Baraat”, and “Ainne Ki Aayegi Baraat” She has also made her acting debut in the Lollywood “Abhi Tou Main Jawan Hoon”. The film tells the love story of a guy who falls in love with a man-hater girl. She played the role Zoya’s mother in a much hit Lollywood movie “Jawani Phir Nahi Ani” starred Humayun Saeed, Hamza Ali Abbasi, and Vasay Chaudhary. The film revolves around a divorce lawyer who is single yet and two of his friends. He has also portrayed his film debut in a romantic film “Ho Mann Jahaan” in 2016 along with Adeel Hussain, Mahira Khan, and Sheheryar Munawar. Busha played the role of Nadia’s mother. The film was directed by Asim Raza and produced by Shehryar Munawar. The film tells the story of an aged urban couple who settled in Karachi and was considered as a box office super hit film and collected 22.50 crores all around the world. Bushra also has naturally gained singing talent. She tough her singing by a great music teacher, Amir Haidery. She has sung in many TV shows and singing competitions. Bushra has hosted the interviews of a well-known Pakistani Politician Altaf Hussain in a television show Brunch with Bushra which was aired on Geo TV. The show based on the depth of personal conversations with famous personalities from sports, showbiz, and politics. Bushra Ansari is the veteran personality in the history of Pakistan showbiz. The beautiful lady has naturally gained talent in almost all the fields of showbiz. She is also a hardworking artist and a superstar. Apart from her huge fans all around the world, she is the recipient of numerous awards during her career journey, including Nigar Award, Lux Style Award, Lifetime Achievement Award, and Graduate Award. Her one of the remarkable award is the Presidential Pride of Performance Award in 1989 for her contributions to the arts of Pakistan.
